GAIL WHITCOMB / VP, Director of Strategic Communications

Gail has more than 20 years of public relations experience both in-house and with major global pr agencies. She has directed strategic communications initiatives for Fortune 500 clients along with protecting and positioning their brands and reputations.She also has extensive experience in crisis and financial communications media relations, and corporate social responsibility programs.

Prior to joining Blitz, Gail was a principal in mw communications based in Dallas. Previously she has held senior leadership positions at Edelman in Chicago, Fleishman Hillard in St Louis and Weber/Shandwick in Boston. She managed a wide variety of clients including Whirlpool, Kodak, LimitedBrands, Borders, Starbucks, Overhead Door, Gold's Gym, Banco Popular, and FIRST Robotics among others.

Gail lives in Dedham, MA and spends her free time cycling New England.
